Tournament of Champions |
| The tournament was postponed by rain twice. It will finish up on Oct. 19th at Baldwin Park. Six teams remain, with three from Nassau Conference. They are Capped Out, Emanski All Stars, and Evolution. |

Tournament of Champions |
| This years tournament is set for Sept. 27 and 28. We have 6 team from this league so far. Call me if your team would like to play. We expect about 24 teams again this year. No tournament players or teams are allowed to play. We will have a managers meeting on Wednesday Sept. 24, to pick bracket and go over rules. |

| In the Green division: the Jokers took first in the division, then lost in the first round of the play offs to Razzle Dazzle. In the finals Fat Daddy's beat Razzle Dazzle in 3 games. In the Green II division; Dirty Dozen took first in the division and the play offs over the Punishers. In the White division; Killer Whales took first in the division and the play offs over New Hyde Park. The Purple division finished late this year, here are the results, the Nags took the division in a close one. Then Purple Haze came from 4th place to win the division. |

Play Off Results |
| In the Blue division; the Silver Bullets came in first place in the division and the play offs. The Mud Hens were the runner up team. In the Blue II division; the Punishers took first in the division, then lost to the E-Streeters in the play offs. The Yellow division; Unfinished Business took the division and the Rebels took the play offs. The Brochiefs came in second in the play offs. The Brown division; Evolution took the division and then in the play offs McMurphy's beat Evolution. The Gray division;the Hometown Boys took the division and Hofstra Staff Infection beat the Hometown Boys in the play offs. The Mitchel division; SPX took the division and the play offs over Corner Pub. The other divisions will be posted as soon as they are complete. |

| The Blue II division will start play offs on 7/27, the Yellow division will start on 8/3, and the Blue will start on 8/17. All managers will be called, as to fields and start times. |

Fall Season |
| I have been getting calls and emails about the Fall season. Letters will all information about the Fall Season will go out in the first week of August. If you are not on the mailing list, please email me your address. The Fall season will be similar to the last season. Weeknight only. |

| In the Blue II division on May 18th Rallyers vs E-Streeters has been moved to Eisenhower #6. Wantagh Flyers vs Punishers has been moved to Christopher Morley #2. Same start times. |

New Umpire Cancellation Policy |
| For weeknight games, teams will be charged the full forfiet fee for games cancelled with less then 24 hours notice. For Sunday mornings games, 6PM Saturday night is the cut off. This is new this year from the ASA Umpires. |

Nassau County raises fees |
| The Nassau County Legislator approved new fees across the board. The new Park fees are for everything. Golf, swimming pools, all field permits, ect. The increase comes to about 50% more. Although all permit fees went up, I am only raising the divisions that play under the lights. Sunday morning and the early weeknight (gray) will stay the same. I sent out notice to all teams. |

Fall League Results |
| Division 1---1st place for the season and play offs was the Rallyers.
Division 2---1st place for the season was New Covenant and in the play offs it was Blood Sweat and Beers.
Division 3--- 1st place for the season was Venom and in the play offs it was the Warriors.
Division 4 --- 1st place for the season and the play offs was House of Blues. |

Tournament of Champions |
| We had 7 teams in the Nassau County ASA Tournament of Champions this year. (Triple S Air, Been There Done That, Warriors, Capped Out, Evolution, Tom Emanski All Stars, and Mean Street Custom Auto) Capped Out finished 3rd, Tom Emanski All Stars finished 4th, Warriors- 5th, Mean Street- 6th, and Evolution- 7th. Anyone of our teams could have taken it this year, but they all were missing some of there key players. The 1st place team was Raging Bulls from South Shore, and 2nd was MVP from Wesco. The first place team will get team jackets. |

2007 Summer Results |
| In the Blue Division---First Place for season and for Play Offs was J.Pauls, the Runner Up was Silver Bullets. Blue II---First Place for Season and Play Offs went to the Mud Hens, and the Outlaws were Runner Ups. Yellow---The Rebels took the season and the play offs. With Backpage Goofballs in the Runner Up spot. White---House Of Blues took first place for the division and Killer Whales came in second. Then in the Play Offs the third and forth place teams went to the finals, with the Knights winning over Evolution. Purple---Tom Emanski All Stars took the division and play offs with the Isotops behind them. Green---Burkes Landing came in first in the division and the play offs with New Covenant, the runner up team in the play offs. Green II---Kill Switch was the division and play off winner. The Predators were the Play Off Runner Up. Brown---The Warriors came in first place for the division, then in the Play Offs the second place team, The Raw-Dawgs beat the Warriors for the Championship. Gray---Live Trax took first place for the division, them the Hometown Boys and the Silent Islanders met in the Play Offs with Hometown Boys winning. Mitchel Division---Northrop Grumman took first place in the division, then in the play offs NCPBA played Capped Out, with NCPBA winning. |

Long Island Tourament Of Champions |

Fall Season and New League Rule |
| Letters will go out in the mail on July 30th for the Fall Season. The Fall season will be 3 divisions, all weeknights. I will start taking registrations on August 1st, first come first servere. (Money and registration form) Also, starting in this new fall season. Any team with any of the following two, in any combination will not be allowed in the play offs. 1)forfeit 2)cancelled game 3)any league or umpire dicipline. |

Weeknight rain outs and play offs |
| Week night divisions will get in the mail, notice of make up games and scheduled start of play offs, about a week before your last scheduled games. All make up time to the end of your schedules has been taken. Some divisions will start play offs right away, and others will have make up games first. |

| The Freeport field on some of the Sunday morning schedules is Randell Park. Take Sunrise Highway to Guy Lombardo. Then, turn south on Guy Lombardo, and take down to Randell Park. |

Grandfathered Bats |
| Beginning in 2008 the following bats will not be allowed under the National ASA Banned Bat List. Easton Synergy 2, Miken Freak, Louisville Slugger SB304 and SB404, Worth XPST4, WWSCA, and SBWKA. |
| Home run rule this year is 3 over the fence and then 1 up. Do not buy any bats that will not be allowed next year. In 2008 some bats that are good now will be illegal. Click on the ASA logo, and go to certified equitment. |

Fall Results |
| Division 1 : New Covenant finished 1st in the division and NY Goodfellows finished 1st in the play offs. In division 2 : Capped Out and Venom tied for first place in the division and Capped out won in the play offs. Division 3 : Roof Pro finished in 1st in the division and RC Dugans finished 1st in the play offs. |

2006 Tournament Of Champions |
| This past weekend was the Tournament of Champions. A team called Whithall won it this year. They are from the Freeport Sunday morning league. From this league, the Thursday night Warriors came in third place. Franklin Stucco came in fourth. Evolution placed fifth. Followed by Mean Street, Northrop Grumman, and The Outlaws, also from Thursday night. Looking to next year, we are adding new rules for teams and players. We will have a list of teams that will not be aloud to compete. Along with a list of players form those teams. More on this in the future. |

2006 Tournament of Champions |
| This years tounament of champions will be held on the weekend of September 9th and 10th. This year, the top travel teams will be separate from the once a week teams. This will be determined by the league commissioners. All Playoff winners are eligible. Each commissioners also holds a couple of bye spots. The only cost is to pay the umpire on the field. But if you forfeit any game at the tournament you will loose your league forfeit fee. |
| The top 4 teams in each division will make the play offs. 1st place will play 4th place, and 2nd will play 3rd. The winners will play each other in the Play Off Championship. This is 2 out of 3, in each match up. The teams will be notifed by phone. |

| This year 11 teams were invited to the tournament from Nassau Conference Softball. Triple S Air played 7 games in two days and came in 4th place. GREAT JOB The Rebels placed 5th, Mean Street was next in 6th place, and the Silver Bullets right behind them. Next year the elite travel teams will not be in this tournament. |

The 2004 Long Island Tournament of Champions |
| This year 20 league champions from three leagues played in this years tournament. The teams came from Island Softball, Classic Softball and Nassau Conference. This years winner was K of C Royals from Classic Softball. We had two teams make it to the quarter finals. House of Blues won there first two games to move out in the winners bracket and then lost two. Team Evolution lost there second game, witch ment they had a tough fight out of the losers bracket. They were 4 and 2. |
